The drawstring is easy for my kid to adjust herself, and the woven fabric feels sturdy enough for rough playground wear. These have held up through two weeks of daily rotation and still look crisp, which is more than I can say for most of her pants.
The waistband lies flat even after multiple washes, which is rare for kid pants in my experience. These have held up through daily playground duty and still look sharp enough for family photos. My son refuses to wear anything else now.
