The ruffle waist bottom actually stays put in the water, which is rare for baby swimwear. My little one kicked and splashed for a full hour and the two-piece never shifted or rode up.
My daughter wore this for swim lessons three times a week and the ruffle waist bottom never once rode up or twisted, which is basically a miracle for a toddler. The lined front bodice is a thoughtful touch that makes the whole set feel more substantial under a swim diaper.
