My son has worn this tee through maybe fifteen washes now and the color still looks brand new, no fading at all. The little chest pocket is his favorite part, he stuffs rocks in there constantly. Soft enough that he doesn't complain about it, which says a lot.
The cotton jersey on this pocket tee is noticeably softer than the stiff ones I've grabbed from big-box stores. My son wore it straight through a muddy afternoon and it came out of the wash looking new, no fading at all.
Washed this tee at least six times already and the color still looks brand new, no fading at all. The little chest pocket is a nice touch and my son actually uses it for his tiny treasures.
