I've washed this shirt maybe five times already and the cotton hasn't pilled or faded at all, which honestly surprised me for the price. It's thick enough to wear open over a tee in fall but not so heavy that it feels bulky buttoned up.

The plaid pattern is subtle enough to wear to work but still looks like a real flannel. Wore it unbuttoned over a tee all weekend and it didn't wrinkle much. Fit runs slightly roomy, which I actually like for layering.
